The 10th International Short Film and Photography Festival “Short cut” was officially opened in the Vojnović house gallery on August 25, with an exhibition of photographs of the seven finalists of this year’s competition, who come from Yemen, Great Britain, Turkey, Serbia, South Korea, Russia and Italy. The audience had the opportunity to enjoy the musical accompaniment performed on the guitar by Dr Ljubinko Lazić, solo double bassist of the Belgrade Philharmonic. The winners of this year’s competition were also announced at the ceremony itself: the author of the photo “Love and Bread”, Adel Mohammed Al-Haimi from Yemen, won first place. The second place went to the author from Russia, Roman Koš, for the photo from the cycle “Welcome to Sri Lanka’s Railways”, and the third place went to the author of the photo “Gardoš at night”, Ivana Manojlović from Serbia. The photo exhibition “Lens(s)” will be open to visitors until September 2, every working day from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
